It all begins with our first meetings where I strive to understand your likes & dislikes, passions, and desired functions for your home.  Only through this understanding can we translate who you are into your surroundings.

I then take the entire construction process, whether new construction or renovation, and break it down into easily managed sections. I help guide you through the stages of construction and assist with every decision: framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, cabinetry, lighting, colors, textures and more.  My oversight during the process not only implements the design vision for your home, but also helps avoid costly mistakes and delays.

Long before the last nail is hammered, we will begin work on the finishing touches; the items that bring the story into play. Custom draperies, furnishings, accessories, and artwork will all be pulled together so that there is a cohesive flow and obvious attention to detail.

Tiffany McKinzie, founder of Tiffany McKinzie Interior Design, has been an active member of the design community since 2002.  She has worked on well over 200 high-end residential new construction and renovation projects in the DFW area, along with multiple luxurious projects in Oklahoma, Colorado, and California. She has been voted D Magazine’s “Best Designers in Dallas” each year since 2010 and is on the board of several design panels in the Dallas area. Tiffany’s eye for design, along with her efficient work style and strong leadership in the project management role, are strengths that truly set her apart within the design community. Outside of design, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and working with several charities, including Compassion International, Women for Women, and Heifer International.
